Arts on Douglas opens the fall season with two new exhibitions. In the feature gallery, ceramic artists Trent + Kelly Berning present: Eclectic Sets & Marionettes, on view September 6 – 27, 2014.  In the alt_space: Lux by Robert C. Beck will be on view September 6- October 11, 2014. An opening reception for both exhibitions will be held on Saturday, September 6, 4 -7pm. The opening reception and exhibitions are free and open to the public.

Endless Summer: A Group Exhibition August 2-30, 2014 July 25 2014

This is the second incarnation of Endless Summer, curated by Gallery Director, Meghan Martin. The exhibition features a selection of artworks by 18 established artists who interpret their summer ideals, memories or perceptions of the summer season. The participating artists include Marc Barrett, Hope Barton, Marilyn Catlow, Mollie Doctrow, René Guerin, Bryce Hammond, Martha Lent, Kathy Lundberg, Larry Moore, Christine Peloquin, Audrey Phillips, Chris Robb/CRSA, Mary Schimpff Webb, Jo Sinclair, Wendy Tatter, Trish Thompson, Barbara Umbel, and Barbara Wagner. The exhibition will be on view from August 2 through August 30, 2014 with an opening reception on Saturday, August 2 from 4-7 pm.

Arts on Douglas announces the opening of a two-person exhibition entitled Material Systems, featuring ceramic sculptures created by Stephen Heywood and abstract paintings by Sarah Alexander. Material Systems will be on view from June 7 through July 26, 2014 with an opening reception, for the artists, on Saturday, June 7 from 4-7pm and an Artists’ Talk on Saturday, June 21 at 4pm. The opening reception, exhibition, and Artists’ Talk are free and open to the public.
