About the Exhibition:

Just in time for the gift-giving season, Small Things Considered provides art lovers and holiday shoppers with the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts for everyone on their list. The original art in this exhibition can be explored and purchased in-person and online.

Gallery Director, Meghan Martin explains, “This exhibition and reception is a great way to ring in the season and has been a holiday tradition at Arts on Douglas since 2000. With 39 artists in this year’s display, we are excited about the variety of original art available, from paintings, sculpture, printmaking, and photography to ceramics, jewelry, and ornaments.”

About the Artists:

For this year's juried exhibition, Arts on Douglas brings together a dynamic mix of Florida artists, featuring 25 represented by the gallery alongside a juried selection of work by 14 guest artists. These artists were selected from an open-call with over 50 submissions.

The Arts on Douglas artists included in this exhibition are Stephen Bach, Susan Bach, Kelly Berning, Trent Berning, Donne Bitner, Victor Bokas, Tom Brewer, Stacey Fletcher, Ed Harris, Stephen Heywood, Jane Jennings, Allison Kline, Riitta Klint, Inverna Lockpez, Jan Miller, Peggi Nadeau, Joseph Palmerio, Sara Pedigo, Christine Peloquin, Spencer Pettit, Juliana Romnes, Robert Ross, Mark Serrianne, Jo Sinclair, and Don Sondag.

The guest artists selected to participate are Linda Amundsen, Margaret Baker, Janas Durkee, Jennifer Harper, Donna McCarthy Jensen, Brian Miller, Debbie Miller, Ev Niewoehner, Per Hans Romnes, Ron Vellucci, Cindy Vener, Straun Wagner, Pam Werneth, and Patricia Zalisko.

Prior to the opening, on Monday, November 28 (Cyber Monday), the gallery will be rolling out an early preview and pre-sale of artwork from this display. This is a unique opportunity for online shoppers to lock in purchases before the exhibition opens. As an added bonus, we are offering free shipping (within the continental US) through December 17, on any artwork purchases from Small Things Considered.
