About the Exhibition:

We are excited to announce the opening of ADORN, a national jewelry invitational featuring an exceptional collection of wearable designs by accomplished jewelry artists from across the country. With a long-standing tradition of exhibiting fine art jewelry, Arts on Douglas once again presents a highly anticipated annual exhibition that promises to captivate collectors, jewelry enthusiasts, and Valentine’s Day shoppers alike with an extraordinary selection of unique, handcrafted designs.

This year’s exhibition showcases a diverse range of materials, techniques, and styles. Featured artwork include the fun and festive polymer clay designs of Bonnie Bishoff and J.M. Syron; contemporary, geometric forms by first-time participant Emilie Pritchard; a new line of stained glass jewelry by Allison Kline; sleek, modern designs by first-time participant Erica Stankwytch Bailey; and an exciting new collection by Wendy Thurlow, whose work combines centuries-old techniques with a rich mix of metals, surface embellishments, and high-quality stones.

Take advantage of early access to browse and shop jewelry in ADORN from Friday, January 23, through Sunday, January 25, in conjunction with the 50th Annual IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts. The gallery will be open from 10 AM - 5 PM each day of the festival.

On Saturday, January 24 from 11 AM - 5 PM,  jewelry designer Gabrielle Gould will be at the gallery to discuss the process and inspiration behind her jewelry creations in ADORN. She will also be showcasing a special collection of sterling silver wrist wrap bracelets that she will sign and date for each buyer. During this event, she will be offering these bracelets at a 10% discount.

The official reception for the exhibition will take place on Saturday, February 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  During this event, we will offer light refreshments and feature live music by TRio, featuring Tyler Rosenke on drums, Ron Gilotti on bass, and Howard Post on guitar.
