We are excited to announce the opening of Adorn, a national jewelry invitational featuring an exceptional variety of wearable designs by a mix of accomplished jewelry artists from across the country. Jewelry enthusiasts and Valentine's Day shoppers alike can take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to find an assortment of unique, handcrafted jewelry designs, such as the intricate and colorful polymer clay creations of Kathleen Dustin; the sleek, contemporary, carved jade designs of Peter Schiller; and the dynamic statement pieces of Jeff and Susan Wise.
From Friday, January 27 through Sunday, January 29, Arts on Douglas will be presenting an early preview of this exhibition in conjunction with the 47th Annual Images: A Festival of the Arts. The official reception will then take place on Saturday,
The twelve artists in this year's exhibition are Linda Azar of Candler, North Carolina; Kathleen Dustin of Contoocook, New Hampshire; Gabrielle Gould of St. Augustine, FL; Jason Janow of Asheville, NC; Lisa Johnson of Tequesta, FL; Allison Kline of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Jennifer Letter of Boulder, CO; Peter Schilling of Somerville, Massachusetts; Wendy Thurlow of Bradenton, FL, Mary Timmer of Weaverville, NC and Jeff and Susan Wise of Durango, CO.
