“A foggy hike on Whiteside Mountain lead me to an ‘edge of precipice’ moment, with a sheer cliff and lone tree clinging to the rocks. Captured on a 4x5 negative, the image was printed with tungsten to give a sense of warmth and peace. As my head was covered with a dark cloth to make the exposure, however, all I could think was, ‘one more step, and it’s a long way down’!”
