“We all cling to life.  This small tree faced a tremendous barrier, a steel bulkhead.  Nonetheless, it found a way and beauty came from its existence. Not from a flower or foliage, but from that which we normally do not see. This infrared image was captured along the Florida Intracoastal Waterway on Rattlesnake Island, home of Fort Matanzas.”
