“Within Anastasia State Park, just minutes from downtown St. Augustine, is the Quarry Trail.  Along this trail you will find the remains of an old coquina quarry mined for the construction of Castillo de San Marcos.  You will also find a forgotten forest with ancient dunes and sandy paths.  Captured in infrared, the light paints the mood of a surreal landscape. Here, a palmetto finds refuge at the base of an old oak tree along the trail.”
