“Within Anastasia State Park, just minutes from downtown St. Augustine, is the Quarry Trail.  Along this trail, you will find the remains of an old coquina quarry mined for the construction of Castillo de San Marcos.  Along this trail, you will also find a forgotten forest with ancient dunes and sandy paths.  Captured in infrared, the light paints the mood of a surreal landscape.  This clump of ferns  was nestled amongst tree roots and touched by the sun.”
